چکیده
We discuss how to connect the energy levels of two-particle systems trapped by a harmonic-oscillator force scattering amplitudes, with nucleon-nucleon phase shifts in uncoupled channels as application. At center proposed framework is energy-dependent effective field theory that aims expand observables neighborhood around each reference energy, often taken be one levels. also investigate disentangle trapping at short distances and intrinsic interaction between particles.

Two-nucleon systems from effective field theory
We elaborate on a new technique for computing properties of nucleon-nucleon interactions in terms of an effective field theory derived from low energy NN scattering data. Details of how the expansion is carried out to higher orders are presented. Analytic formulae are given for the amplitude to subleading order in both the S0 and S1 − D1 channels.
متن کاملCharge–dependent nucleon–nucleon potential from chiral effective field theory
We discuss charge symmetry and charge independence breaking in a chiral effective field theory approach for few–nucleon systems based on a modified Weinberg power counting. We construct a two–nucleon potential with bound and scattering states generated by means of a properly regularized Lippmann–Schwinger equation. We systematically introduce strong isospin–violating and electromagnetic operato...
متن کاملNucleon-Nucleon interactions from effective field theory
We have established a new convergent scheme to treat analytically nucleon-nucleon interactions from a chiral effective field theory. The Kaplan-Savage-Wise (KSW) amplitudes are resummed to fulfill the unitarity or right hand cut to all orders below pion production threshold. This is achieved by matching order by order in the KSW power counting the general expression of a partial wave with resum...
متن کاملNucleon-Nucleon Effective Field Theory Without Pions
Nuclear processes involving momenta much below the mass of the pion may be described by an effective field theory in which the pions do not appear as explicit degrees of freedom. The effects of the pion and all other virtual hadrons are reproduced by the coefficients of gauge-invariant local operators involving the nucleon field. Nucleon-nucleon scattering phase shift data constrains many of th...
متن کاملNucleon-Nucleon Scattering from Effective Field Theory
We perform a nonperturbative calculation of the S0 NN scattering amplitude, using an effective field theory (EFT) expansion. We use dimensional regularization throughout, and the MS renormalization scheme; our final result depends only on physical observables. We show that the EFT expansion of the quantity |p| cot δ(p) converges at momenta much greater than the scale Λ that characterizes the de...
